Wow.

This might be the longest, most boring night of my life.

Happy Belated New Year...

So, it's 2009. I hope it's happy!

Since my last post:

-I've put on five pounds (Thanks Christmas!)
-I've been to Ohio and back.
-I've been to a funeral for my grandmother's brother. (Rest in peace, Uncle Ed).
-I've celebrated Christmas twice.
-I've paid a lot of bills.
-I've read a couple books.
-I've learned to play Spades and Hearts (and now I am addicted).
-I've started playing Rock Band 2.

2008 was a horrible year for me and my family. I pray that 2009 will prove to be a better year and allow me a chance to recuperate.

I've made several resolutions. But, I will keep them to myself for now. If I accomplish my goals, I will let you know ASAP.

In the Kingdom of My Familiar (Julie Platt) Since I first read Julie's poetry, I've been a fan of it. I have been itching to get my fingers on this chapbook.
Wanton Textiles (Reb Livingston and Ravi Shankar) I'm interested in collaborative work lately.
The Bad Wife Handbook (Rachel Zucker) I've been meaning to get this book and just haven't done it yet.
Adorno's Noise (Carla Harryman) Baby was so good... oh so good.
